Nazi Germany S.A. Model 1933 1st pattern dagger & scabbard by Friedrich August Schmitz

Features mid brown wood grip which fits the cross guards correctly, retaining both eagle and roundel, both of which sit firmly in the grip. Cross guards are correct nickel type, with the lower guard being Gau stamped ‘Ns’ for region Niedersachsen. The fair/good condition Friedr. Aug. Schmitz of Solingen maker marked blade measures 22.3 cm and is etched with the motto “Alles für Deutschland” (All for Germany). Correct anodised scabbard retains 40% of its brown finish. A rare maker for SA Daggers.
