Very nice complete set of uniform jacket, pants and peaked cap for a WW2 German Police Officer (Leutnant).
Set features a feild grey wool jacket, with twin slanted breast pockets, two bellows pockets, brown felt collar with bullion officer’s collar tabs. Left breast pocket shows ribbon bar for First World War service & Police Long Service. Left arm retains correct officer’s bullion police patch. Officer’s shoulder boards for rank of 1st Lieutenant, with correct green piping. Brown french cuffs, with button pairs to both, eight buttons to centre seam and read skirt. Green piping overall. Retains dagger hanger clip.
Police riding breeches retain partial store label, with all buttons complete, seems unissued.
Police service peaked cap is maker labelled for Albert Kemp of Leifrant. Sized 58 1/2. Great condition form crown, retaining green piping. Twin air vents as standard to both sides of crown, correct aluminium national eagle with swastika in wreath and tricolour officer’s cockade. Retains bullion chin strap and firm leather peak.
