***SOLD*** WW2 German visor cap for non-commissioned officers by Peter Kupper. Dark field grey wool material shows light moth tracking however is intact with no holes and all stitching is in perfect order. The white Waffenfarbe (Weiss) shows some moth nips but otherwise intact. Wool cap band is in perfect condition with no damage. WW2 German visor cap for non-commissioned officers by Peter Kupper. Dark field grey wool material shows light moth tracking however is intact with no holes and all stitching is in perfect order. The white Waffenfarbe (Weiss) shows some moth nips but otherwise intact. Wool cap band is in perfect condition with no damage. The cap eagle measuring 7cm wide by 3.2cm high is made of a cupro nickel material has been shaped by the original owner the to follow the shape of the cap. The SS Totenkopf or deaths head measures 3.2cm wide by 2.8cm high is made of a light weight metal with a silvered finish showing light wear. The 14mm leather chin strap is in great condition, leather is supple and both buttons are firmly in place. The pressed Vulkanfiber visor is in great condition with no cracking or chips. Inside shows the makers stamp to Peter Kupper of Ronsdorf, the leather sweat band shows moderate wear and staining and some of the stitching near the visor shows signs of being repaired.
