Leslie Clarke was awarded the Royal Victorian Medal in silver for forming part of the gun carriage team at the funeral of His Majesty King George V, 28 January 1936, whilst serving as a Leading Seaman at the Royal Naval Gunnery School, Chatham. He was awarded his Naval Long Service Medal on the 21st of November 1940 and obviously saw extensive service during WW2.

Overall an impressive medal group awarded to a direct participant at the funeral of King George V.
