Offered is a good example of a Nazi Germany S.A. Model 1933 1st pattern, enlisted man’s dagger with scabbard. Features mid brown wood grip, showing light wear, which fit the cross guards well, retaining both nickel eagle and roundel, both of which sit firmly in the grip. Cross guards are correct nickel type, with Gau stamp ‘Th’ (Thuringen). The Malsch & Ambon of Steinbach maker marked blade measures 22.2 cm with a clear etched motto “Alles fur Deutschland” (All for Germany), with some black finish remaining to motto & majority to maker trademark. Overall a good condition dagger, from a not often seen maker.
