NAZI GERMANY 1st MODEL M33 SS DAGGER WITH SCABBARD & PARTIAL ERNST ROHM DEDICATION BY CARL EICKHORN OF SOLINGEN

The Wooden grip is in good condition, with a period repaired crack to top left corner and retains SS roundel, party eagle & swastika. Solid nickel Cross guards Gau stamped III for Berlin. Special dedication blade measuring 22.5cm with the small oval trademark for Carl Eickhorn of Solingen.  Very fine nickel body with a good crisp motto –Meine Ehre heißt Treue (my honour is loyalty) and the Rohm dedication to reverse of the blade, with his name neatly removed, as was the custom after his murder and subsequent edict concerning these dedications and their removal after July 1934. The scabbard retains 98% of its original black anodizing and solid nickel fittings are in very good condition. A rarely seen dedication dagger in overall very good to very fine condition.
