Medal comes with an extract of the London Gazette showing award to 63490 Captain Bevan 17th November 1950, having served at the Bedford School as part of the Junior Training Corps.
The medal was instituted on 1 February 1950 to be awarded to officers and uniformed adult instructors in recognition of long service of proved capacity in the Cadet Forces with twelve years’ reckonable service being required for award of the medal.
