RARE NAZI GERMANY LUFTWAFFE 1ST PATTERN DAGGER & SCABBARD

Early 1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger & Scabbard. Maker marked TIGER, with trademark. Beautiful nickel-silver hilt fittings with great frosting finish to pommel, upper and lower ferrules and crossguard with only very slight wear to the swastikas. Dark blue leather grip shows light surface wear with no rips or tears, and is complete with tight, triple-twisted, silver wire wrap. Plated blade is in very good condition showing light surface wear/runner marks and light wear to lower blade (as pictured). Blade is complete with blue leather blade buffer pad. Blue leather scabbard shows only minor wear to lower edges. Nickel-silver chain hanger with early marked (GES. GESCH.) nickel-silver clip shows light age patina, but no damage to rings or connectors. Overall, a fine Luftwaffe 1st pattern dagger.
