RARE NAZI MARKED WW2 GERMAN FIREMANS DAGGER PARADE BAYONET BY LINGENBRUGGER & ELLERMAN OF BIELEFELD

Offered is a rare swaztika stamped firemans bayonet. Features nickel “S” guard and birds-head pommel, black hatched composite grips secured with steel pins. The 25.4cm long plated steel blade is in good condition & shows the L+E name and fireman’s helm with swastika makers logo. The blade is non sharpened with a good finish to surface & normal handling scratches, leather buffer pad present. Rolled steel scabbard is undented with majority of black dress paint to body. Bayonet complete with original walking out black leather frog showing only light wear. Overall length: 38cm, in scabbard 40.5cm.
A good used example of a WW2 German fire department dress bayonet, as used for parade purposes or worn as part of your dress uniform when on duty. The firemans dagger was the only WW2 dagger that did not have the Nazi emblem as part of its design so to find one with swastika is very rare.
