Checked wooden grips with light period service wear. 84cm pipe back blade with Ottoman Turk script number 9736 over German makers details with manufacturer Islamic year 1325 (1909) stamps to the ricasso. Blade surface shows light age wear and period edge sharpening. Blade fits well into the rolled steel scabbard, which carries some minor dents and is missing 1 throat screw, stamped with crescent moon inspectors stamp and script for # 1157 to the drag and throat. Scarce trooper’s sword in good solid condition, the sword sheathed in scabbard measuring 103cm.
