RARE WW1 WW2 SWEDISH ARMY 1914 MAUSER CARBINE SWORD BAYONET & SCABBARD

Offered is a WW1 - WW2 era Swedish Army Model 1914 Mauser Carbine bayonet, scabbard & frog.

Bayonet features steel fittings overall, with crown stamped to grip spine with working external release button, screw in wooden grips and metal guard & muzzle ring, unit stamped KI No. 1220. The 33.2 cm long double edge blade, with no sharpening to blade edge, retaining a very good spear point, with blade being in generally very good condition overall. Ricasso maker stamped for Eskilstuna Jernmanufakuraktiebolag AB (Eskilstuna Iron Manufacturing, Inc.). Standard protective finished metal scabbard with crown stamp to ball of the scabbard 'drag', for the firm of Erik Anton Berg (EAB) of Eskilstuna. Scabbard frog stud mounted with mid brown leather frog, being stamped B and retaining grip fastening strap & buckle, with crown stamp to rear leather portion.

The bayonet was designed for use with the 6.5 mm. M1894/14 Mauser Carbine. This bayonet also mounts to the 9 mm. Carl Gustaf Submachine Gun m/1945C (Kulsprutepistol m/1945C).
