Offered is a Dutch WW2 Pro German donation money tin for the Winter Relief Appeal for the German war effort. Standard pattern with WHN clover motif to front. The original blue paint scheme is 80% present. Top lid retains the coin and note slot with the outer lock flap. Can handle shows lots of use and there is a dent to the left side of the can (see picture #1).The interior is very good, with all coin the shingles present. The base is numbered 31568 with remains of a paper label numbered 94. Measures 160mm x 170mm.
These are rarer than the German red WHW donation tins, as very few of these Dutch cans were ever produced and even fewer kept after the Germans lost the war.
