Offered is a King George V era (1911 - 1935) British Court Sword. The sword features a gilt metal half shell guard with decorated knuckle bow, with pebbled recess. Complete with the leather and gilt brass mounted scabbard. All metal furniture retains a great majority of the original gilt finish overall, making this an impressive display piece. The 81cm long double edged blade is etched with foliage and Tudor crown with George V cypher. Blade shows excellent etching overall, being hardly touched by the years.
