Alexander Bonnie Peattie was born on 6th December 1891; Promoted to Lieutenant on 6.2.1918. Served aboard H.M.S. Onyx which originally a Torpedo guboat but was later converted along with her sister Hebe to submarine depot ship prior to WW1. Invested with the O.B.E. at Buckingham Palace on 10.3.1920.
