WW2 Australian Volunteered for Active Service Badge ? Medically Unfit. Excellent condition and patina, lugs to rear, numbered 1994. Measures 30mm wide. A relatively early issued numbered badge.

Volunteered For Active Service Medically Unfit badge issued by the Australia Department of Defence between 1915 and 1919. The badge was issued to people who had volunteered for active service outside Australia since 1 July 1915 but were deemed medically unfit by a certified medical officer.
