WW2 GERMAN 1ST MODEL 1933 SA DAGGER WITH SCABBARD BY F HERDER OF SOLINGEN

Offered is a good example of a Nazi Germany S.A. Model 1933 1st pattern, enlisted man’s dagger with scabbard. Features mid brown wood grip, showing light wear, which fit the cross guards well, retaining both nickel eagle and roundel, both of which sit firmly in the grip. Cross guards are correct nickel type, with Gau stamp ‘Wf’ (Westfalen). The very fine surface F Herder A.S. of Solingen maker marked blade measures 22 cm with a clear etched motto “Alles fur Deutschland” (All for Germany), blade carries 2 edge nicks. Scabbard retains nickel plated throat & chape, with original finish, showing light scratches/wear and slight dent to drag bottom, anodised body straight and carries period scratches and brown finish loss. Scabbard carries original leather belt hanger. Overall a very good condition dagger.
