WW2 German Air Force (Luftwaffe) Artillery (Flak) NCO’s private purchased peaked cap. This well made wartime cap features a great shaped peak, with red piping overall. The blue wool is free of damage or staining and retains a very good shape overall. The metal 2nd pattern eagle & winged cap badge are firmly affixed. Retains superior quality leather chinstrap and side buttons. The peak is firm. The interior silk remains, with removed centre celluloid diamond. Officer’s quality leather sweatband is retained and in excellent condition. Approx. size 58. An exceptionally well looked after cap which would be hard to beat.
