WW2 GERMAN ARMY M40 CAMOUFLAGE STEEL HELMET
*SOLD* Rare early to mid war 2 toned Model 1940 camouflage steel helmet. This helmet retains the majority of the original early pattern camouflage, showing some light wear overall, commensurate with age. The Heer decal is still 80% present. The liner and chinstrap are present, the chinstrap having separated from age with some dryness and leather wear in patches to the liner. The rear skirt shows 8490 which is faint from the various paint applications, with side showing ‘ET64’ (Emaillierwerk, AG Fulda, size 64). An untouched example of an early to mid war camouflage helmet.
