Offered is a late 1930’s era Anton Wingen of Solingen made German Army parade dress sidearm bayonet with scabbard. Features nickel plated steel fittings, showing birds head pommel, with working release catch, with solid pommel & hatched composite black grips, with metal guard. The 25 cm long nickel plated steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade and maker marked with ‘Knight’s’ trademark and mark for Anton Wingen, Solingen. Offered is a late 1930's era Anton Wingen of Solingen made German Army parade dress sidearm bayonet with scabbard.

Features nickel plated steel fittings, showing birds head pommel, with working release catch, with solid pommel & hatched composite black grips, with metal guard. The 25 cm long nickel plated steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade and maker marked with 'Knight's' trademark and mark for Anton Wingen, Solingen. Standard unsharpened blade with light use and runner marks to nickel plating as shown, retaining original brown leather washer. Standard refinished metal scabbard, with some wear to original black enamel finish. Overall length: 40cm long.
