WW2 GERMAN WAFFEN SS OFFICER’S UNIFORM EAGLE
Rare WW2 German Waffen SS officer’s arm sleeve eagle. Eagle is the semi padded variety with bullion thread base and interwoven black cotton thread. Light age patina overall, on black wool cloth. The reverse of the badge shows obvious sleeve removal and correct bendability from the right wing being the most moveable as per correct use on the left arm of the tunic. Note the left arm wing has theread loss, however I believe the threads can be repositioned if necessary. An original in every respect.
