Nazi Germany S.A. Model 1933 1st pattern, enlisted man’s dagger. Features tiger striped mid/dark brown wood grip which fits the cross guards well, retaining both nickel eagle and roundel, both of which sit firmly in the grip. Top of grip shows period repaired crack underneath roundel. Opposing chip grips to base. Cross guards are correct nickel type, with Gau stamp ‘No’ (Nordsee). The good condition Puma maker marked blade measures 22 cm with clear etched motto “Alles fur Deutschland” (All for Germany) showing good pebbling to lettering. End tip looks to have a couple of minor dents. 1st pattern scabbard retains nickel throat & chape, with most of the original brown finish, showing light scratches/wear. Good early original leather hanger strap attached to suspension ring.
