Offered is an early war quality, very good condition Cavalry Officer's peaked cap by DITTMANN DRESDEN Marke ODD beste qualitat (Faint remains but present). This cap features a spotless doeskin field green crown, with yellow 'Cavalry' piping overall, with aluminium national eagle & swastika with aluminium oak leaf wreatha nd national cockade. Green centre band, with bullion chin chords and side buttons. Peak is firm and shows very light crazing to top, but very good overall. The interior silk liner shows use and light sweat staining to the cross hatched stitched interior, with light cracking to the economy sweat band. Approx. size 57. This is a very good condition piece to a rarely seen arm of the German Army.
