***SOLD*** 55mm high oval silver skeletal badge in the form of an oak wreath with a crown above, the initials ‘EIIR’ (Queen Elizabeth II) to centre, with the reverse plain with loop for ribbon suspension; 1958 dated to base, on correct ribbon with ‘TERRITORIAL’ pin back bar atop, with two further service bars added, being mounted for wear with a pin back bar to rear. The Decoration was instituted on 17 October 1930 and replaced the Territorial Decoration, being awarded to the same criteria, namely 20 years’ commissioned service, time in the ranks counting half and service in wartime counting...

The Decoration was instituted on 17 October 1930 and replaced the Territorial Decoration, being awarded to the same criteria, namely 20 years’ commissioned service, time in the ranks counting half and service in wartime counting double. Generally, each additional bar represented a further 6 years service.
