Offered is an early war quality, near mint condition Artillery Officer's peaked cap by Clemens Wagner. This cap features a spotless field grey 'shaped' wool crown, with red 'Artillery' piping overall, with aluminium bullion national eagle & swastika with aluminium bullion oak leaf wreath and national cockade. Green centre band, with bullion chin chords and side buttons. Peak is firm and in excellent condition. The interior silk liner shows much use and light sweat staining, with the celluloid damond removed showing the company logo and 'Erstklassig' logo. Leather sweat band shows much service use. Approx. size 57/58. This is a fine condition display model overall.
