Sergeant John Herbert Cook,?was born on the 7/6/1924 in England (probably Kent) he enlisted into the Royal Air Force 16/8/1943. His service certificate states ?Served overseas 3/5/44 to 25/9/45?. It is unsure what capacity he served as his certificate records his air crew category/trade as clerk/E-D, however of note is the section recording Air Crew Badges awarded ?Pilot?.

Post war he emigrated to Australia and died 21/6/2007 in Perth Western Australia.
