 Offered for sale is a very nice example of a 1933 ground Rohm SS dagger and scabbard with the hard to find vertical hangar. Blade measuring 22 cm with crisp etched motto and maker marked to Gottlieb Hammesfahr,Solingen, blade shows signs of having Ernst Rohm etched dedication removed. Nickel cross guards are in good condition and are free from any major damage. Hardwood grip retains eagle and roundel and shows some light marks, however none too serious and the fit to the cross guards is very good with little shrinkage. Original anodized scabbard is in good condition, one tiny dent on the back and the tip is slightly dented, scabbard retains most of its original coating. Vertical hangar is in good condition and leather is still supple and bears both RZM and SS markings. Overall a well presented SS dagger, which as we all know are increasingly difficult to find, especially being a ground Rohm.
