***SOLD*** A rare 1st Pattern Second World War Fairbairn & Sykes Commando Dagger & Scabbard. Features a plated/knurled grip, with ‘S’ shaped guard. 17cm long double edged blade, featuring the Wilkinson Sword logo & ‘The F-S Fighting Knife’ on fairly clear panels, with light wear and use to blade, retaining a good used tip point. The blade fits nicely into the correct chocolate brown scabbard and nickel chape. This was sold to us by the son of an early member of the Parachute Regiment, being a D-Day and Arnhem veteran. The quality and condition of this piece is very good to fine, being one of the best examples we have seen for sale for many years. Very scarce.
